Frequently asked questions

Find the answer by topic.

Getting started

Set up your account and establish a useful starting point.

What should I add first in Sholoo Ana?

Add a cash, bank, or mobile wallet account, and then record your first income or expense. Once those essentials are ready, add other assets and liabilities that matter to you. Complete your profile before using tax estimates.

Do I need to enter all of my old financial activity?

No. You can begin with your current balances and start recording activity from today. Add older records only when you want them included in your history, reports, or tax planning.

Can I use the same account on web and mobile?

Sholoo Ana keeps records with your account, so you can continue with the same financial information when using the supported web and mobile apps. Mobile store availability may vary while the apps are being released.

Tracking money

Keep everyday income, expenses, accounts, and categories organized.

How do income and expenses affect my accounts?

Choose the account connected to each activity. Income increases that account's tracked balance, while an expense reduces it, helping Net Worth reflect your current position.

What are categories used for?

Categories organize activity so you can understand where money comes from and where it goes. Pro users can also create reusable custom categories and search them while adding records.

What can I see in Net Worth?

Net Worth brings together balances, recent activity, assets, liabilities, savings progress, and high-level financial metrics. What appears depends on the records you have added.

Assets, savings, and liabilities

Track what you own, what you are saving, and what you owe.

Which assets and accounts can I track?

You can organize spendable accounts such as cash, bank accounts, and mobile wallets alongside assets such as property, gold, and investments.

How does DPS tracking work?

Create a DPS plan with its schedule and account information, then track installment progress with your other financial records. DPS auto-debit is available as a Pro feature.

Can I track loans and repayment reminders?

You can track liabilities such as loans and credit cards, including EMI plans and reminders. Lent-money reminders and borrower emails are available with Pro.

Reports and tax planning

Understand summaries, exports, and Bangladesh tax estimates.

How are tax estimates calculated?

Tax estimates use the transaction history, completed profile details, tax profile, and supported rules for the selected Bangladesh assessment year. Keeping your profile and financial records current improves the usefulness of the estimate.

Does Sholoo Ana file my tax return?

Sholoo Ana provides planning estimates and NBR e-Return guidance. It does not file your return or replace advice from a qualified tax professional. Review your information before using it for a filing decision.

What reports and downloads are available?

The free plan includes basic charts and transaction history. Pro adds detailed period and category analysis plus supported PDF and Excel downloads.

Plans, privacy, and support

Understand access, account protection, and where to get help.

What is included in Free and Pro?

Free covers Activity, Net Worth summaries, income and expense tracking, assets, DPS management, EMI reminders, and basic history. Pro adds advanced reports, exports, tax tools and automations. Check the pricing section for the current comparison.

How is my financial information protected?

Sholoo Ana checks account ownership before records can be viewed or changed, protects sensitive access, verifies payments, and monitors important security events. You can also download a copy of your information and manage connected access from settings.
